I stumbled across this singer/songwriter five years ago,whilst tuning in one night to radio 2.Nick Drake is one of this countries musical hidden treasures.In his lifetime Nick only recorded three albums,Five Leaves Left,Bryter Layter and Pink Moon respectively.His life was cut short at the young age of 26 in 1974.Nick Drake has been frequently cited by artists including Kate Bush, Paul Weller and The Black Crowes.Nicks songs along with his lyrics are like hazy summers evenings in a quiet part England, they have the ability to take you wherever you want to go.
